Smolder ("the App") is a focus timer developed by Jerry Kang ("the Service Provider") as a free service.
Smolder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any external server. The App operates entirely on your device.
The App does store the following data locally on your device, accessible only by the App itself:
This data never leaves your device. There are no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
The App requests access to your photo library only when you explicitly choose "From gallery..." in the photo picker. Photos you select are copied into the App's private storage on your device.
The App uses the operating system's standard share sheet to enable sharing your session card to other apps (e.g. Instagram). What happens with the image after it leaves Smolder is governed by the destination app's privacy policy, not this one.
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any data from any users, including children.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page. The effective date above indicates the latest revision.
